The Honourable Mark Docherty, Fmr. Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan will be reading ‘The Carnival Boy’ this summer. 11-year old Saskatchewan author and Grade 5 student at St. Kateri Tekakwitha School in Regina, Chidera Igwe, was honoured to visit his constituency office to sign for him a copy of her new book, #thecarnivalboy. Chidera Success Igwe is a Grade 5 student at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic School, Regina, Saskatchewan. She loves reading and writing. She is currently working on a number of manuscripts. The Carnival Boy is her first fiction, which was inspired by a dream she had had.
